Live Music
The Curragower is fast gaining the reputation as Limerick’s best venue for authentic Irish Music. Over the last number of years the bar has become a home away from home for the many music students of the University of Limerick. The Currragower has become a place where novices and experts alike feel free to teach and share their knowledge and love of traditional music. Just recently the popular tv show ‘Geantrai’ recorded a live music session in the bar and the episode is due to be aired in the autumn of 2009. Music is played live in the Curragower 7 nights a week in the summer months, and Wednesday through to Sunday in the winter.
